About Us

Circles of Women South Central (CWSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, conduct and support activities that allow women to become empowered and experience personal growth.

Circles of Women South Central (CWSC) is a member of the Woman Within® International network, which has operated through volunteer efforts since 1993. Woman Within® is an international non-profit organization that licenses the curriculum for their Training Weekend to CWSC and other network members.

Circles of Women South Central (CWSC) serves the south central region of the United States, covering areas of Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. Based in Houston, the south central network membership was officially established in 2001 as EnVision Connection, a non-profit Texas Corporation. In early 2008, the organization began operating as Circles of Women South Central (CWSC).

Circles of Women South Central (CWSC) accomplishes its mission primarily through organizing and offering Woman Within® Training Weekends, and providing on-going support after the weekends, through Empowerment Circles and community-building events; serving three purposes:

1) to strengthen bonds between women

2) to raise funds for worthy causes; and

3) to raise funds for providing financial assistance to women who could not otherwise afford to attend the Woman Within® Training Weekend.

Through the Woman Within® Training Weekends, support circles, leadership opportunities and community-building events that follow, women learn to access their own personal power and begin to share that power with authenticity and integrity.
